Manoucher produced a pile of contact sheets and images that were taken by Bruce Davidson. I am not sure when or how Manoucher and Bruce met. All I know is that I feel like I have known Bruce and his family for my whole life.

These images are from a session in Manoucher’s studio on the upper West Side of Manhattan.

This is a photo of Manoucher (second from the right) in the Alborz Mountains outside of Teheran in Iran. It was before 1944. He thinks possibly 1942 or 1943.
